Having been forced to postpone their 360° Tour while Bono recovered from a back surgery, U2 have announced the rescheduling of 16 U.S tour dates. The new tour dates begin May 21, 2011 in Denver, Colorado and will conclude July 23, 2011 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In honor of the legendary Keith "Guru" Elam, a memorial service has been set for July 18th at UMass's Boston campus. The Elam family has stated that the service is for friends, family and a limited number of fans. The service will be taped for a later tribute that will appear on GuruTributes.com
Earlier this year James Cameron said that 20th Century Fox may be looking to re-release Avatar on 3D screens after all the summer blockbusters are out of the way. Alice in Wonderland, which was released in March, took over all the 3D screens after Avatar claimed them for 2 straight months. Apparently Avatar could have made another few hundred million if it still had them all to itself.
